FAQ

What's the difference between an AdCider Campaign and an Apple Ads Campaign?

An AdCider Campaign is a high-level strategy that directs our AI to create and manage a group of 3-4 distinct Apple Ads campaigns on your behalf.

Why isn't my campaign spending the full daily budget?

This is common for new campaigns and can be due to factors like:

  • Low keyword search volume
  • High competition

The AI works to improve budget utilization over time as it optimizes.

What happens if I exceed my tracked ad spend limit?

  • AI optimizations will be paused for all campaigns
  • Your ads will continue to run
  • AI management will resume when either:
    • You upgrade your plan
    • Your 30-day rolling spend falls back within your plan's limit

What types of Apple Ads placements does AdCider support?

AdCider currently focuses exclusively on automating Search Results ads - the ads that appear at the top of the App Store's search results when users search for apps.

How does the new monitor agent system work?

AdCider now uses a daily monitor agent instead of scheduled optimization cycles. The monitor:

  • Analyzes your campaign performance every day
  • Assesses the effectiveness of the last optimization strategy
  • Decides whether to trigger a full optimization cycle based on performance data
  • Only runs optimizations when they're actually needed, making the system more efficient

Can I update my CPA target after creating a campaign?

Yes! You can now update your CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) target after campaign creation. When you change it:

  • An optimization cycle is automatically triggered
  • The AI checks if CPT (Cost Per Tap) bids need adjustment
  • Daily budgets may be updated to accommodate the new target
  • You'll receive a notification explaining any changes made

What are the daily monitor opinion notifications?

For complete transparency, AdCider now sends daily notifications containing the monitor agent's opinion about your campaign performance. These notifications help you understand:

  • How your campaigns are performing
  • What the AI is monitoring
  • Why optimization cycles are or aren't being triggered

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can easily cancel your subscription by clicking the Cancel Subscription button on the Account > Billing page. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

How long does it take to see campaign results?

Most campaigns begin spending within a few hours, but meaningful optimization takes time:

  • Initial data collection: 1-7 days
  • Noticeable improvements: 1-4 weeks
  • Mature performance: 4-8 weeks

Can I make manual changes in Apple Ads while using AdCider?

Yes! AdCider detects and respects manual changes made in the Apple Ads dashboard. The AI will incorporate your changes into future optimizations. See our guide on combining manual changes for best practices.

My campaign isn't spending its full budget. Is this normal?

Yes, especially for new campaigns. Common causes include:

  • Low keyword search volume
  • High competition
  • Learning period for Apple Ads algorithm

The monitor agent will work to improve budget utilization over time. If the issue persists after 2 weeks, consider adjusting targeting or budget allocation.

What's the difference between CPI and CPA optimization?

  • CPI (Cost Per Install): Optimizes for the lowest cost to get app installs
  • CPA (Cost Per Acquisition): Optimizes for users who complete valuable actions (purchases, subscriptions)

CPA optimization requires attribution setup and typically results in higher-quality users.

Can I change my CPA target after creating a campaign?

Yes! You can update your CPA target anytime. When you do:

  • An optimization cycle automatically triggers
  • CPT bids are adjusted if needed (CPA can't be lower than CPT)
  • Daily budgets may be updated
  • You'll receive a notification explaining any changes

How often should I expect optimization cycles?

The monitor agent reviews performance daily, but optimization cycles are only triggered when needed:

  • Typical frequency: 1-2 times per week
  • New campaigns: More frequent initially (daily for first week)
  • Mature campaigns: Less frequent (weekly or bi-weekly)

No optimization cycles may indicate your campaigns are already performing well.
